What to Expect During Your Private Voice Lessons

At Vocal Studio Lilian López, each session is carefully designed to develop technical skill, expressive performance, and artistic growth. Every class follows a structured 3-part method tailored to singers of all levels:

1. Vocal Warm-Up & Technique

Each session begins with a targeted vocal warm-up designed to prepare the voice for optimal performance. Students work on breath management, resonance, articulation, pitch accuracy, and vocal agility using evidence-based techniques.

2. Repertoire & Interpretation

In this phase, singers apply technique to carefully selected songs that match their vocal range and stylistic goals. Emphasis is placed on phrasing, musical expression, emotional connection, and storytelling through the voice.

3. Studio Recording Practice

Students record the song worked on during the session using professional studio equipment. This process not only builds confidence and microphone technique, but also prepares singers for auditions, live performances, or studio projects.

After Each Lesson:

Every student receives:

  • A personalized Singing Lesson Report with feedback and goals

  • A raw audio recording of the song recorded in the session

This approach allows each singer to track their vocal development week by week and reflect on their progress at home.

All private lessons are conducted one-on-one with Lilian López, either in-person at our studio or via video call for remote students. Each session includes:

As part of our vocal training program, each student receives a Singing Lesson Report after every class, outlining their progress, goals, and practice tips.
